This is a 2D paper quilling piece on plywood, depicting a Bharatanatyam hasta (roughly translates to hand pose). Bharatanatyam is a type of Indian traditional dance based in Tamil Nadu that I have been learning for about 5 years now so completing a project themed after this was long overdue.
This is a watercolor on mixed media paper depicting my very own pet bird Sweetie! The picture used as a reference for this painting was also taken by me and can be seen on my Instagram page (@pureartbypraneetha). In real life, she's an absolute nuisance despite what the picture shows, but I'm glad I managed to capture a more peaceful moment. (Prints available for this piece in my shop!)

This alcohol ink painting was made for a charity auction some time ago. Its ink on canvas depicting poppies in a a mostly warm color pallet.

These are paper quilling flower sculptures that I made as a filler for a vase I had. Basically, everything on the flower is made from paper, stem included!

This watercolor was a freeform imaginative peice that was made on a whim, still love it though! I really enjoyed the amount of colors and shapes in this one. Prints available in my store!
This is my first Indian traditional painting that I made! The art form is called Tanjore and it originates from the city of Thanjavur, India. The process includes various different materials including: 24k gold foil, natural ground stone paste, arabic gum, etc.

This sculpture was a experiment with inks and clay. The inks being alcohol inks and the clay, fiber clay.

This is a mixed media alcohol ink piece on canvas. the process includes layers of gel mediums and other solids arranged to look like a geode or agate structure. The final piece is colored with vibrant alcohol inks.

This peice is the largest painting I have done to date! Its a mixed media alcohol ink of a colorful succulent, whose reference picture was taken by me as well.
